Warning: Finger Darts may inflict pain.

"That was chaotic!!!" was one of the only thoughts that filled my mind on Sunday afternoon after hundereds of airborn finger darts filled the HSM room, whizzing this way and that...some connecting with my eye...Tyler wasn't there. Who can I blame?
We'll call it "controlled chaos". I mean, the point was to illustrate how distracted we can get...In that case, I'd say "Home Run" Sometimes, chaos can be effective. Right?

Well, anyway. I just thought I would use this post to remind and encourage us to not give up seeking God as soon as we feel a little resitance. As soon as we feel life's foam darts in our face, may it not make us pull back from God, but drive us to Jesus! That's a bit cheesy, but give me a break. So, here's a few questions to use as a little refresher:

Are we desperate for God?

Do we see Him as the ONLY solution to our lives questions? Reread the story of Bartimaeus and ask yourself, "Do I shut up with my faith when a little bit of resitance comes my way?"

On the other side of this is, "Do I see the needs around me?" or "Am I ignoring a person or situation that God has called me to?"

Think about it....then go play with the finger darts.
