1st Sunday of the Month: Worship Together Weekends!

On the first Sunday of every month, high schoolers are invited to attend the 2nd service @ 10:45 with their families in the Seacoast Worship Center. During these weekends, the HSM will also be serving together on the Plaza during the 9am service. The purpose of Worship Together Weekends help teenagers and adults feel like they are part of Seacoast as a whole. High school students who don’t normally attend church with their families are still welcome to come, and there will be a designated HSM section for these students.

The next Worship Together Weekends are November 4th & December 2nd.

Friends Don't Let Friends Leave This Behind

(Just to be clear...THAT is a luggage tag. )

Do you know where your BagTag is???
Don't wait until the last moment! (I'm the only one who gets to do that:)

If you've been to Hume with us before, you most likely have a green "BagTag" (like the one above) floatin around somewhere.

YOUR MISSION: FIND IT!

NEED SOME HELP?
So, I'm not Sherlock Holmes or anything, but I'll try giving you a pretty sweet hint: Perhaps you should try finding the bag you took last year...and then look for something "green" on it. I don't know...something tells me it might be the name tag after all!

ALSO...
If it helps you, maybe print a picture of the bag-tag and take it with you around the house, ask your family lots of questions and follow the clues. I know you'll have fun:)

Ready? Set? GO!!

HSM "Parent Handbook" Download

So, I've been feeling I need to contribute to the "Save the Trees" cause and have finally taken some action.
The HSM Parent Handbook, (all 12 pages!) is now available for download!

If you are a HSM parent, THIS IS FOR YOU! It'll give you an overview of the High School Ministry here at Seacoast and explain why we do what we do.

We're all about partnering with you, the parents of our High School students. It's a partnership primarily because "youth ministry" doesn't start at church...whether your son/daughter is a Freshman or in 6th grade or is graduating from High School or even a toddler...Youth Ministry starts at home. Your home.

And guess what? Your kids are watching you.
They're watching the things you DO and DON'T DO.
They're also listening.
Listening to the things you SAY and the things you DON'T say.

You're a huge example. What YOU DO matters.

How you LEAD matters.

Most of all...who you FOLLOW matters.

Thank you for allowing us to join your ministry to your son and/or daughter. I'm honored to be your partner.

Wintercamp 2009!

Well we're off to Pondorosa Pines for wintercamp tomorrow. We're meeting at Seacoast at 1pm. If you're a curious parent or lonely friend, I'll do my best to keep you updated with our trip via Twitter. Just click here to see what we're up to.

Remember to pack for the snow. For more info on what you'll need, click here.

I'm stoked for this weekend! We're taking up a rad group of students, many I hardly know. So this trip will be clutch in getting to know new faces and helping them experience a connection and belonging to our Seacoast family!

Parents and friends, please pray for us...that God would use this trip to bring us closer to Himself!
